The problem was, the moderator never left the echo or Fidonet. You were
summerily kicked out of the echo. You were absent from the echo for
two years. Your recent post was allowed because it was on topic and I'm
getting soft in my old age.

But not the rules of the echo or the elist that it is registered with.
BTW, I've seen your post where you claim that the reason you knew the
echo was abandoned by the moderator was because you didn't see any rules
postings. There haven't been rules posted in the echo for about a year
now. Has the moderator abandoned the echo again?

It failed because of your known demeanor and the fact that the echo was
current in it's elisting, nothing more. It wouldn't have mattered what the
participants had to say. Although I appreciate the particpants and the
backbone for they're interference in your hijacking attempt. Had the
elisting expired, you wouldn't have run into that brick wall. See, your
zealousness to steal something from your fellow fidonet sysops got you in
a pot of shit that you haven't lived down to this very day. I wouldn't
have brought it up if I were you.

I think it speaks well of the elist. A moderator is assured that somebody
of your ilk will not be able to hijack their echo. A job well done by
your elist keeper in action.  This also speaks well of the software used
by the elist keeper, it was much easier to hijack an echo when Adrian
Walker used his own code.
