   Oh, I did! But how could I even imagine that the US law is so completely
alien to the laws in the free world, outside of the US, when they even have
signed the Bern Convention and other copyright related protocols? Yes, *now* I
know it, but by then I didn't.

   I can understand that you want to take that part up for discussion. It seems
you took on the Playboy Centrefold part of the mission, right? Well, it was the
Centrefold issue that DynDNS used as an excuse to terminate my account (without
any notice), so I guess you can be declared the proud winner of this mission.

   Oh yes, there's a lesson to learn all right. Or even more than one.

   Not only is fidonet losing users, but it seems that we also, recently, have
attracted users that care more about forcing their own agendas upon everyone
else, than about what's in the best interest of fidonet. What you, or whoever
is responsible for it, achieved with your snitching is that:

   297 new users, that my JamNNTPd server has attracted to fidonet in less than
a year, now has been effectively excommunicated. The 28 registered users I can
reach with email, giving them the new URL, but the rest of them I have to
attract once again. One of those 28 registered users is Johan Billing, if the
name rings a bell?

   Lots of links to the Snooze archive, still the only archive in the world
where you not only can download the compiled version, but also the different,
original files that make up the issues.

   So what did you gain? Did Hugh Heffner or anyone else involved with Playboy
get one single cent more because I had to move to a service provider in the
free world (ironically enough, one that is based in BC, Canada)? Will any of
them get one cent less if I close it down completely?

   Was it really so bad for you, that I provided this, very popular, service to
the world? Maybe if I had put some naked boys too on my server, you wouldn't
have been so pissed...?
