oops... i was going to include the path from one iif shannon's messages but
forgot and didn't think about it before the message got scanned out... however,
i think you'll be able to tell by the PATHS map that i posted why you see
shannon's quicker then you do MvdV's ;)

yes, that is what i was saying... your path is faster in many cases... those
closer to MvdV might arrive at your system a bit later which might enable MvdV
to respond to them before you even see them... that is the nature of our
echomail flow design... it could be a bit different if everything was sent "to
the top" and then flowed back down to everyone spreading from the top down...
it would also be different if all leaf nodes were the same distance from the
"top" hub(s)... i don't think we'll ever get rid of the conntection method and
timing factor, though ;)
