only one historical document does that that i'm aware of... it only does that
if one doesn't take care to research the truth before assuming something that
is not in evidence...

for the most part, yes... you'll have seen my research and documentation on the
existance of *ECs before EP1 was written before you see this message ;)

pretty much true...

the 2 Z2 lists of 1988 that i find on ruth's site don't list john... that makes
it a bit harder to determine when he actually joined the network...
nodelist.167 of June 1989 has him listed several times... even once as a NC...
i was going to try to ferret out exactly when he joined and then gained a
backbone position... he was "promoted" to that "position" at some point... i
remember pulling my mail from him at 2400 until he asked me to hook up with
someone else... he said my connection was too slow ;)  several months later i
got my Zyxel 1496 and then another that could do 16800 or whatever it was...

and again... geez, you're really on the ball, today ;)  but i still can't help
thinking about those individuals who won't see the truth simply because of how
they perceive the messenger...
