Nobody gives them away. They have to be purchased from a Federally
licensed dealer.

Yeup...only the police can kill you...but that's not how it happens here.

Nope. Concealed firearms are hard to detect. It's only after the firearm
has been brought into play that the police know about it. Of course, they
get to know about it when a CCL'd person tells them that he has a licensed
firearm on his person. This isn't the old west where gunslingers walk
around with the guns strapped in holster on there leg.

Yeup. Usually with a illegally obtained firearm.

they get killed by illegally armed robbers all the time. If the gun wasn't
stolen in a burglery, it was purchased illegally. Very few killers would
use their own firearm in a murder or a robbery gone bad.

Unarmed people don't get killed in a shootout, unless they're innocent
bystanders in the line of fire. Most people who find themselves in that
position usually duck for cover and let the people with firearms shoot it
out.

A burgler has entered a private residence or business. That's his first
mistake, because if/when he's caught therein, it's no longer burglary,
it's armed robbery. This is also why homeowners and businessmen carry
firearms on the premises.

Usually, the burgler who knows the homeowner has a firearm deters the
burgler to an easier target. They would rather avoid a confrontation than
get into one.

Yeup...armed robbery. Here the difference is, burglary gets you 10 years
while it gets you 20 years for armed robbery.

Probably not. There will be less people who can get them, but the desire
will always be there as long as a person has to protect themselves from
preditores.

I wouldn't say that, as the stats show that an armed community has far
less crime than one that isn't. Look at Washington DC, New York, Chicago
and the states of Maryland and New Jersy. There is more firearm crimes
there, yet they have gun laws that don't allow a firearm.

Meanwhile, in those cities that don't have anti-gun laws, the crime rate
is very low.

dawn unda will automatically say otherwise because they'd rather look
good than tell the truth)
