I only wish you could have seen that echo in its heyday, if you had, you would
not by comparison, be bitching about Roy, me or anyone else.

Because perhaps they are doing a far more superior job at ignoring Roy than you
are? Not to mention that perhaps you are over-estimating the number of people
whom actually bother to take, much less read FN_SYSOP.. ;)

Think about it...

You want to proudly parade around the fact that the FIDONEWS echo traditionally
has had the FIDONEWS editor serve as moderator, ok tradition...

Did you know that FN_SYSOP has traditionally elected its moderator yearly since
its inception????

Did you know that when Björn Felten was installed as moderator through a fiery
election process I might add, in which Roy Witt was replaced, that he
unilaterally decided that there would be no more elections..

You see Herman, traditions you all follow only when it has suited you.

There no longer are enough people in FN_SYSOP to elect another moderator, much
less re-elect the existing one.

Now I am not going to sound the fire alarm bell here, its too late, but
methinks you all shouldnt be clinging to "tradition" either. Because the
tradition of the FIDONEWS echo dictates to you all that Felten should be its
moderator, the tradition of FN_SYSOP otherwise threatens Feltens ability to
remain its moderator, so you all in turn embrace one tradition and reject the
other.

See, Felten wants his cake and to eat it as well.
