Mud slinging in a competitive environment seems to be part of American life. It
is not restricted to politics, we see it everywhere. yes, right now Obama en
Clinton are tearing each other apart or trying to anyway, but sooner or later a
winner will emerge ans that will be the end of that. Then it will be the winner
against McCain.

He is a member of Bush's party and as such he is tarnished. Not supporting
Bush's aganda will not make that go away.

Plus that whoever becomes the next POTUS will be saddled with clearing up the
mess. A mission impossible, so to avoid questions they can not answer, they
avoid the subject alltogether.

Same story.

None of the candiates appears to be willing to express themselves too openly on
matters that concern us non-Americans most.

I wonder why they call him black. He is half white, half black in my
perception.

So would I but it appears change is what the American people want...

Will he be a good president? I really do not know. he may not live long enough
to make a serious mistake and go down in history as the second Kennedy. Or not,
we will see...

That was an act. It worked. For a moment...

Another prolem with McCain is his age. He is 72. If he makes it through his
second term, he will be 80 at the end of the run. Do people really want another
Alzheimer case at the helm?

The longer I live, the less respect I have for politicians.
