Björn,

So you also remember the grades on your first report-card at school when you
were 6? :-)

Because if you don't ... there probably was not very much reason to remember.
8-)

BF>WD> Exchange rates from 1967?

BF> Yes. You may already have seen that other participants managed to find
BF> such stuff.

That is because most likely they were interested enough in the matter to go
looking.

By asking simple questions here, most of the time someone will go looking for
it and then report about success.

BF> It's not really that difficult if only you know how to
BF> properly use the internet.

Yes, Massah! 8-)

BF> Not that I understand what this has to do in a public echo, and I'm

The issue of routing netmail from your neck of the woods to zone-3 is not
something which emerged the last 24 hours. I'm trying to get you interested in
it for weeks but all you're available to do is lash-out to Holger.

I'm merely trying to solve an issue and you're totally unresponsive in netmail
... and in email as that technology is also available.

In the meantime Z1-echomail seems to be disturbed in your region and R21; I'm
being approached because no-one else seems to care.

So I sent a netmail to Paul Quinn in zone-3, routed a version the normal way
immediately to ZC3 with near immediate delivery and one version via you ... it
went MIA and 7 days later it still is MIA. I informed you by netmail I sent
such a mail and that something was wrong. The least you could do is to confirm
that you are looking into it ... but "nothing".

Whenever there is an issue re: your system and I or someone else attempts in a
non-personal non-provocative way to get it resolved you either go mute or
lash-out and seem provoked.

Is it so difficult to confirm the matter has your attention and will be dealt
with?

BF> Holger has never ever sent one single netmail "directly" to zone 3.
BF> They have all (nine during the last four years that I have log files for)
BF> been addressed via 2:2/3, AKA the zone 2 zonegate to zone 3. If there's a
BF> problem there, I suggest that you take it up with the zonegate keeper.

Most people probably are not aware that Holger desired to be listed in a net
away from you and you were not exactly ... shall we call it "cooperative"?

It's not my problem you have a personal problem with him. I perfectly accept
mail from and to people I do not like, such mail reaches its destination.

BF> OTOH, I see that you sent a netmail to zone 3 via my system (at 1 Apr
BF> 8 19:14:40). If that didn't make it, that's bad. I try to use the same
BF> routing out as the routing in I can detect from the Via lines (as in the
BF> zone 3 case). In the odd case that this doesn't work, I obviously first
BF> must find out why it doesn't work both ways (this route to zone 3 that I
BF> presently am using has been working flawlessly the last four years) and I
BF> also must try to find out if it's a temporary failure or must be judged
BF> as a permanent one. This usually takes more than 24 hours.

My mail is in the black hole for more than a week now you've chosen to use for
Z3-routing. That's at least at least 168 hours, not 24. And it's an ongoing
issue from before a week ago ...

BF> You seemingly have failed to make zonegate routed netmail working for
BF> at least four years (does it work now, BTW? it's not trivial if you
BF> insist on using outdated software, you know...), surely I can expect to
BF> get at least a week to make sure my links are updated?

So what you're saying is you sent your Z3-bound mail to the person listed as
2:2/3 and there it bogs down. Well, that is no surprise to me, I moved away
from that routing as well ...

And why do you need to lash-out "to me" about zonegate routed netmail? I'm the
gate for Z1 and Z4, not that anyone really uses it ... I think ... but should
anyone use it, then mail will be processed quite correctly.

Right, are you suggesting I move 2:2/3 to me in order for your zone-3 mail to
work?

It's no problem to do this ...
