If you had, then you would know the difference between a pistol and a
revolver. Nor would you have stated that you had an 'automatic' pistol.
When I was about 8 or 9, I fired a Mauser 'Broomhandle' automatic pistol
that one of my dad's friends brought home from WW2. I've never fired any
pistol since that was automatic. Semi-automatic pistol, yes. I even own a
few.

Well duhhhhhh. The accuracy difference is in site radius. The further you
seperate the front site from the rear site makes the firearm more
accurate. But, you can make a handgun nearly as accurate by putting a
handgun scope of them. I have one, but it's mounted on my muzzle loading
Thompson Center rifle. The eye relief of a handgun scope makes it a
perfect fit when mounted ahead of the hammer. Although it helps to make
the rifle very accurate at 100 yards, it's illegal to hunt with it.

A false premise, proven by the fact that many people carry firearms on
their person and they're very predictable. They don't pull their firearm
for just any old reason, it's for protection when talking won't help.
Before you can get a concealed carry permit, you have to know the law and
accept the responsibilty of carrying that weapon. You don't just put it in
your pocket one day and that's that.

The unpredictable people are those who are prone to commit crime, not the
ordinary citizen's looking for a way to protect their property, themselves
and their family.

Yes, it certainly does, however 'that' isn't the problem.
