It's amazing that the 2 of you could agree on anything.  Apparently 
my actions came to some good.  In any event, I have yet to see 
Netmail from Björn.

Take a look at my recent messages.  I do think it's high time that 
the real root of the problem is addressed.  I've got no problems 
in the fact that some people disagree with what I write.  After all, 
there are some times I disagree with them.

Oh, really?  

Let's look at some facts:  

The current crop of Echo updates still shows Shannon as the 
Moderator of this Echo.  Yes, it's quite possible that Shannon 
has given you the keys to this Echo and it hasn't been released 
as yet.  And, I do know that there is a problem with the robot 
interface right now.  

However, at the same time, I have not seen a message in this Echo 
from him directly stating that.  Nor was there a posting by addressed 
to all stating that it occured.  The first I saw anything on that 
was well after the fact.  Then there's Shannon's recent posting 
commending me on "fighting the good fight".  There's no mention 
at all about me not being allowed to post in here by him.  

Couple that with the de facto status of allowing postings under 
aliases of various type as well as fraudulent origin lines.  And, 
there's also the lack of moderating by the Editor/Moderator 
of this Echo.  

Now, let's look back a bit:  When Jack Yates took over the E-listing, 
I immediately complied with his wishes.  One of the reasons was that 
I wasn't the only one singled for actions.  

Now recall that even though I was breaking the rules, it was done 
with the intent of getting the Editor to step up and enforce 
Echo rules and restore decorum to this Echo.  In fact, I stated 
exactly that when I began with that tactic.  And, I immediately 
complied with his request to stop posting.  

Since Jack left, nothing has changed other than to revert to the 
worst "business as usual".  

If you want help in cleaning up this Echo, both you and Bjorn 
need to start setting better examples.  You decried Bjorn's 
use of the Echo to advertise his BBS along with the content 
that is carried on it.  At the same time, what do you do?  You 
repeatly post updates for your flame web site.  You complain about 
Bjorn's USA bashing.  And what do you do in return?  You call them 
"scum boys".  Can you say, "pot/kettle/black"?

Now tell me:  Why shouldn't the tone of postings you two use not
become reflected in the tone other posters use.  Physicians, heal 
thyselves.  

If you want anyone's, let alone my cooperation in cleaning up this Echo, 
a higher standard will be expected of both you and Bjorn.  Until you 
do, I'm only going to be a small part of the problem in this Echo. 

BTW, I understand you took umbrage at my posting of the No-Flaming 
Rules.  Strange, as I was told after a similar posting in another 
Echo, it was "an example only" and "you were not being singled out".  
"It was so that the other's would have a clearer idea as to how 
the rules work."  

Why was I supposed to like it when my name was used and you found that 
it was offensive when your name was substituted?  

Like I stated:  Stick to the higher standards if you want anything 
positive to occur in this Echo.
