Above you used an analogy and when I do the same that's not Ok.....
So what grows in Bangladesh is special and can not happend anywhere else?
Why shouldn't our crop take up the poison as the rice in Bangladesh?

Bad analogy. Water and air is essential for us but the use of chemicals in
farming isn't.

I just took a look at the use of pesticides and herbicides in EU for:

Potatoe
Sweden 7.4 kg/ha       ha=hectare
France  32

Holland use 30 kg/ha for fruit and 50 kg for flower.

For winter wheat:
Sweden 0.7 kg/ha
England 4.6

In Denmark they spray the apple trees between 20 to 25 times/year and use
28 kg/ha and in France they use 41 kg/ha

The average use of chemicals in EU is:
Sweden 1 kg/ha
Portugal 8.1.

Do you know care to explain what the heck they are using.
