That is no limited to the US.
 
Morroco notes a 2-digit figure from sources in the EU.
 
To sustain the moneyflow the government funds fundamentalistic imams and sends
them to these countries to make certain the flock does not adapt to the host
country and keeps on sending the money lest they be doomed and condemned to rot
in hell.

Define "immigration" please?
 
In the EU we have free transborder traffic of goods and services, that includes
the workforce.
 
Someone from outside the EU entering Belgium and getting a work permit could
take a plane to Sweden and get a job there. In the Eurostat-statistics he/she
will be noted as an immigrant to Belgium, not to Sweden.
 
I'm just meaning to say that the figures per country in the EU are not an
absolute thing. One can enter legally a certain country because he/she can't go
where he/she would like. Once the entry/work-permit in country-A is secured,
you can move to any of the others.
