That is correct.

It is often understood that the bbs a participant uses is
indemnified, with the participant being the indemnitor.  In
some cases, a participant wanting to use a certain bbs is
asked to agree to indemnify the BBS in order to be granted
posting privileges.  Indemnification means that a bbs sysop
cannot be held responsible for what a participant does.
IOW, indemnification makes the participant solely responsible
for his/her own actions.

All participants, without exception, should be allowed to freely
express their own opinions.  Even those whose opinions I strongly
disagree with.

Be thankful it wasn't named Bjorn.  :)

In any event, I am safe.  Or should be safe.  I hope.
I'll find out soon enough.  :)

It may be a while before posting again, given lack of electricity
once the storm hits.  Landfall should come sometime tonight...
