That is utter nonsense.
 
The war in Europe had been going on for already 2 years, 3 months and 8 days
when the US got involved.
 
The Battle of Britain over air-superiority had already been fought and lost by
the Nazis. Air cover was necessary to execute a successful landing on the
British coast. Conclusion: no air cover? No landing!
 
Sea power is equally necessary to conduct a successful landing. At the start of
hostilities on Sept.1st 1939 ... yes, that's when WW2 started, the Germans had
some heavy units but way not enough to confront the home fleet. In quick
succession they lost Graf Spee, Bismarck, Gneisenau, Blücher and Scharnhorst
thereby they were finished as a sea force..
 
Again no landing.

It's impossible to beat Russia in a conventional war <period>.

Had you read xxxxxxxx "Inside the Third Reich" you would have known that early
on the armaments minister concluded there were not enough resources for an
all-out war.
 
The uranium which ws available was as good as all earmarked for armour piercing
shells.
