No physical object can travel faster than light. Information can not travel
faster than light.

Traveling to the the moon was never precluded by known theory.

Absolutely. Physical objects or information going faster than light are
impossible according to Einstein's theories. Those theories have bee tested
over and over again and have not been falsified yet. That does not mean they
never will of course. But if someone finds a way to travel faster than light,
it will mean Einstein's theories will have to be revised. I do not expect to
live to see it.

FTL carries the additional complication that it automatically implies the
ablility to travel in time. And THAT would open a real big can of worms....

Yeah, I know about the ERP paradox and the Bell inequality. It suggest that the
universe is either non-local or non-causal. But that still does not allow FTL.
