Actually, as an outsider, you need a better source of news. It's the
Democrats who're finding more and more votes for Franken. Even some have
been found in the car trunks of the Democrat in charge of the election in
a few precincts.

If we handle the ballots more than necessary, we have the same situation
that AlGore perpetuated in Florida. Fortunately for MN, there weren't that
many voters to have to count all that many ballots. Of course, if they had
all been presented on election day, rather than stored in the trunks of
election officials, they could have been counted sooner.

Board that more than half the state's county auditors had botched the
canvassing process and may have improperly rejected ballots that should
have been counted."

canvass fully the results of the election." As a result, they said, the

counties. They asked the board to reconsider the rejected ballots in the
recount, which could add hundreds, perhaps thousands, of ballots to a
contest in which Republican Sen. Norm Coleman leads by 215 votes.

The Canvassing Board, made up of two state Supreme Court justices, two
county judges and Secretary of State Mark Ritchie, delayed ruling on
whether to include the rejected ballots until next week and did not
certify vote totals in the Senate race, saying instead that the results
fell within the half-percentage point margin needed for an automatic
recount."

What I see here is that Democrat Franken is pushing the issue, just like
AlGore did when he realized he had lost the election.
