I concur on both ... Afghanistan should have been dealt with long before 9/11,
then again up to that point China's human rights violations (which are still
ongoing) should also have been dealt with.

The British Expeditionary forces had left on June 3rd 1940. A full year and a
half later on December 3rd 1941 ... they were still alone with the other
European allies.
 
Sitting a year and a half on one's ass is not exactly 'racing to the scene'.
Especially not when the Battle of England had already been won by the British.

Our airspace was 'not' closed for 4-5 days yet no-one crashed planes into a
building ... during which time all of Osama Bin Laden's family were allowed to
leave the US on luxurious business jets, the only non-government planes that
took to the skies. One can still take the subway in London without being
stripsearched or board a train in Spain.

DHS is a disaster. You never evidently had to deal with it. The only thing it
manages is to lower unemployment figures. A completely useless department based
on fear.

We do, Bush started it, so he's to blame.

Another grossly mismanaged event.
 
I still remember our relief planes with relief goods and emergency personnel
trained for large disasters being turned away by US fighter planes or get shot
down. The flights were diverted to Bermuda from where the relief goods were
ferried by US freighters to the US mainland where press stood ready to witness
the arrival of ... US aid. Sort of what happened after the cyclone in Myanmar.

The US haven't dealt with terrorism.
 
Terrorism isn't fought with armies invading and destroying another country.
