As far as reputable sysops are concerned, elists do not mean a
darned thing.  Elists such as Thom LaCosta's private elisting might
mean something to disreputable sysops (and fake moderators).  But
disreputable sysops (and fake moderators) do not make Thom LaCosta's
private elisting official.  And nothing you say or do can make it
official, either.

As for the rules of this echo, echopol1 is official policy.
Doesn't matter if it is, or is not, official policy for anything else.

This is a designated flame echo, meaning there are no rules.
Participants have always posted flames, as is their want, and
participants continue to post flames today.  Such is the way
of this echo, and most of fido.

Bullcrap.  Everybody has opinions on everything.  You, me, and
everybody else.  You have been known for flaming others, not only
in designated flame echoes, but also elsewhere.  I do not claim
to be innocent of such matters, unlike certain others.  If you
want to be stupid, I can be stupid too.  That is how designated
flame echoes, such as this one, work.  Doesn't matter who flames
who, or who flames who first.  A flame is a flame is a flame.

If you say so.  Not that it matters, given Thom LaCosta's private

I was not arguing with you or anyone else in regards to the NFL
playoffs.  I simply expressed an opinion.  When shown to have been
in error, I conceded the point.  That is not arguing.

I am not arguing with you concerning Thom LaCosta's private
elisting.  I am merely stating an irrefutable fact - Thom LaCosta's
private elisting has no official status in fido.  You might not like
it.  But that's your problem.  Not mine.

I doubt Jack considers you as being a friend of his.  I doubt very
seriously he bothers to talk to you, or to even correspond.  Whether
or not Jack passed the password over to Shannon is irrelevant, given
Thom LaCosta's private elisting has no official status in fido.
