Technology-wise, the USA may have the best health care in the world.
Along with having the best-trained or best-educated doctors in the
world.  Why then are Europeans (as a whole) healthier than Americans?

A good idea for all who travel to the USA for short periods of time.
But what about those who come here for an extended stay?  Such as
students, or workers?  Not all workers are undocumented.  Many are
migrants, and have no insurance at all.

That isn't saying much, given that the late Saddam Hussein was a nicer
fellow than Batista.  If the only thing Cubans have to compare Fidel and
Raul with is Batista, they might look at the Castro brothers as being
nice guys.  That doesn't mean that either of them are nice.

Cuba has a state-run economy, headed by the Castro brothers.
By keeping the cost of labor low, the state makes a very generous
profit.  That profit is reflected by the GNP, but does not mean
the Cuban people have a high standard of living.  The Castro
brothers might, along with their cronies, but not the majority
of the Cuban people.

Yeltsen requested Dr. DeBakey to head the team.  If you want to call
that an advisory role, so be it.  But it was Dr. DeBakey who was the
brains.

Yeltsen wanted who he considered the best surgeons in the world
to fix his heart problem.  It was not really a matter of cost,
since Yeltsen was head of state.  For Yeltsen, it was a matter
of survival.

George W. Bush.  And we all know that George W. Bush is never wrong.
