Pro tem. You are well aware I do not oppose an NC election and in fact the
first steps have already been taken.

That is an outright lie. *I* volunteered. I was rejected on the excuse that I
could not offer 24/7 POTS.

And the problem with that is? Wasn't it *your* burning ambition to be ZC and
IC? Haven't you been telling that story about how you tricked Ron Dwight and
Jens Müller in the ZC election over and over again? Ad nauseum? Didn't ambition
drive you to changing the rules on the fly when the ZCC voted you down as IC?
If ambition disqualifies, you should never have been ZC, you should practise
what you preach and step down now.

I am not stooping so low as to take the bait Ward. Jan Vermeulen does not read
the messages in FidoNet any more. He is no longer in FidoNet. Unfortunately.
Everyone in R28 knows why he finally had to step down as RC28, why it was so
difficult to make him step down with dignity, and why not much later his system
went down. I am not going to be the one who drags Jan into the mud by
explaining to the FidoNet community why any words you put into his mouth are
meaningless.

And neither do I.

You can try to discredit me by making accusations you can not prove and that I
can not disprove.

What remains as fact is that you refused to hold an election.

By doing that you went against the wishes of the sysops in R28 and acted in
violation of the agreements made at the merger of R28 and R29. You broke the
band of trust.

That will not go away, not matter how much mud you dig up.
