The Spanish felt free to do whatever they wanted with the people
they "discovered."  And so it was with the natives, who were thus
enslaved by the Spanish in order to mine the gold the Spanish
held so dear.  The white man has a long history of exploration
and domination.  The Spanish were no different.  And neither
were the British, or the Americans.  Do not think the Dutch
are innocent.  Do not think the French are innocent.  Do not
think the Italians are innocent.  Do not think the Germans are
innocent.  Do not think the Vikings or the Scandinavians are
innocent.  You and me both know the white man is guilty as sin,
regardless of where he is from.

In 1499 Columbus struck gold in Haiti.  Yet the Spanish did
not appreciate Columbus, as he died of sick and poor, ignorant
of what he had accomplished.  Imagine that.  The great man
Christopher Columbus, dying of neglect in 1506.  Why?  Because
CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS WAS A BLACK MAN!  Now give me one good
reason why Columbus would have wanted to enslave black people.
You can't.  Which explains why Columbus and his successors
forced hundreds of thousands of Indians (indigenous peoples
of Haiti) to mine the gold for them.  It also explains why
no indigenous peoples of Haiti survived for long.

Once there were no more Indians alive to mine the gold, the
white man had to find another source.  Hence the need to import
slaves from Africa.

Now you know why Haitians are black.

The Europeans' enslavement of Native Americans has a very long history.
Ponce de Leon went to Florida to gather up as many Native Americans as
he could find in order to send them to Hispaniola (modern day Haiti).
You see, there was gold in them thar hills, and Ponce de Leon wanted
it.  But he needed some help from his Native American friends to get
it.  Unnerstan'?  Native Americans were Ponce de Leon's fountain
of youth!  That's what gold does to old codgers.  Naturally, Indian
slavery led to African slavery.  You do see the link, don't you?
Not enough Injuns to do the job.  Unnerstan'?  The first blacks
there, in 1638, were imported from the West Indies to be exchanged
for Native Americans from Connecticut.  The New York City slave
rebellion in 1712 was one in which Native American and African
slaves were united, the ratio being one resident in four being
enslaved and one slave in four was Native American.

But hey.  Do you know where the center of Native American slavery
was?  LIke African American slavery, the center was Ross Cassell's
beloved state of SOUTH CAROLINA!  In 1708 this population included
3,960 free whites, 4,100 African slaves, 1,400 Indian slaves, and
120 indentured servants, presumably white.

So pleeze, pleeze, pleeze, know your history!  The white man's
history is not exactly what your teacher told you in grade school
so long ago.

is, a great man.  Barack Obama is an even greater man.  Even though
Muhammad Ali remains the greatest.
