Asking a stupid question about why people do things, requires they be
answered with another question.

Einstein was a Jew.

However, the Jews were cursed by God for killing his son. They were
banished to the four corners of the world for that, never to know peace
again. Or so it's been passed along by many orthodox christians.

I would be wary of people who don't know their bible and tell you such
things. I'd stay far away from that teacher.

As a test of their knowledge, ask the teacher if pigs pass the cloven
hoof/chews a cud requirement as clean food, posed to Noah by the Hebrew
God in the old testament. If he/she tells you that law was done away with
by the sacrifice of Jesus, they don't know what they're talking about.

Yes, but the Catholic faith has set the precedent that the others have
followed.

Correct, yet they adhere to the teachings of the Catholic church.

They also believe the Catholic Church had the authority to change the

They are wrong in that belief.

The last words in the Bible state something on the order of: if you add
anything to or change anything in this book, God will add onto those who
do, the plagues that are written in this book.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that: Just because Jahn can do it, that
doesn't mean that it's right or that you can do it. ?

No doubt, but 'real' orthodox Muslims do adhere to that practice.

Are they bound together by marriage in the Church?  No, they are living in
sin, according to their religious faith/church.

I don't have a POV of the eastern religions because, like you in the
western religions, I'm not well versed in their teachings.

I know English isn't your native tongue, but it's really easy to
understand it.

I'm more of a Deist...I believe there's an omnipotent being that created
this universe, perhaps as an experiment. When you're dead, you're dead.

However, if there's an afterlife, I'll be more than over-joyed if it's
anything like these religious zealots say it is.
