Now even _you_ are using Australian slang. Get real, we're Americans (at least
as far as the roots are concerned).

As for the comment, why not blame GWB if you blame Obama for the present
crisis? One for one, stay at the same level. And GWB had more time.

Until the last congressional elections, the majority party in Congress was

Promises, promises - so far at any rate. Mr. Smoot and Mr. Hawley in the 30s
doubtless did a better job throwing the global economy into a depression, but
apparently many have learned from such mistakes in the meantime.

At least I damned sure hope so - to hell with future generations, if we don't
survive NOW there won't be anyone to worry about in the future.
