I think people should once again learn to accept that not everything can be
controlled and not every mishap can be prevented. And that some things can be
prevented but that the price is higher than the revenues. If you start locking
people up just because you *think* they may do something terrible, you are on
the wrong path.

Locking up people as a preventive measure is not effective either. Lacking mind
readers, one simply can not tell what people will do. You will never know if
one has prevented anything at all, but one surely HAS robbed someone of hois
freedom for likely nothing

Frankly, I thought he was a creep. I can see some attenuating circumstance in
his youth though.
