Since I dont tilt to windmills like most liberals, I will take your comment as
a compliment.

Going by a discussions you had in another echo, your intellectual prowess wasnt
so evident as you decried the No Child Left Behind program and made no attempt
to suggest alternatives, if you really were a teacher, thus being on the
frontlines, you have a better perspective to do so.

I will correct myself, there have been Grizzly attacks on adult brown bears in
Yellowstone Park. Massive decapitations and evidence of being eaten.

First off, China is going to be taking over the number one slot.

Our European (West) brothers can bitch because they use more Nuke plants to
generate power, over here, the windmill tilting idiots bitch about the notion,
because of the waste disposal issue.

Most of our power generation comes from Coal, Diesel or Natural Gas, I have
seen articles where they shunt Co2 emmisions into some sort of underground
storage.. Gee, then it all can be released at once through some sort of
accident, be leeched away by rainwater etc.

But I get it, the windmill tilting liberal think that 157 years of damage can
be reversed in 7 years!

You arent doing anything differently from I, turning off unused lights, taking
used soda bottles, newspaper and the ilk and placing them in the proper
collection bins at the county collection center.

Does every American do this, hell no, just look at our roadsides!!!!

I imagine that if we could get our electricity generation off of fossil fuels,
that would be enough to push ourselves way down on the list of Co2 producers,
now sell the Nuke Plants and the waste issue they have!

Again we have an issue whereas people like yourself are so adept at pointing
out a problem yet refuse to provide viable alternatives without putting the
country into economic ruin. I dont know about Florida where you live, if you
get your electricity from a Nuke Plant, your conservation efforts have no
effect on the Co2 thing, if you get your power from conventional means, it
doesnt change the fact that your power generation is adding Co2, even if you
are turning off unused applinces and lights, not everyone is as diligent as
you, and this fact cannot possibly have escaped you.

Many industrial complexes use electricity, to operate machinery or kilns and
ovens, what about them?

Who pays for all of this?

I'll bottomline this for you, none of this is going to happen overnight, nor is
curable in one generation, your hated President can only serve a max of 8
years, he has just under 1.5 to go, his policies if they are wrong, can be
reversed by the next Promise maker.

Automobiles currently on the market that are enviromentally friendly cost a
fortune, will you personally buy me and the other 400 million Americans one?

Are you willing to tolerate several hundred Nuclear Power Plants and the waste
issues they will introduce?

Be better than a windmill tilter, give us options!

In part I was, but many who cry about this are dependant on that which they cry
about..

I looked up where Janis lives, her utility company is big into fossil fuel
usage.

Actually portions of my area are served by a Nuke Plant <g>
