MvdV> Hello Roy,
MvdV> On Sunday December 30 2007 09:19, you wrote to me:
RW>>>> I was in bed with my wife.
MvdV>>> Spouses vouching for each other will not impress the court. You
MvdV>>> may be in it together.
RW>> That was only one albi that would have applied...the other is that
RW>> there is no record of my traveling to Aruba (air, boat, etc), nor do
RW>> I possess a passport.
MvdV> So you say but we have only your word for it and if you travelled
MvdV> on a false passport in a false, name there would be no record. Not
MvdV> in the name of Roy Witt.
And if I had, they would have noticed that I'd taken some time off at
work...they didn't and neither did I.
RW>> I doubt that there is even a direct connection between San Antonio,
RW>> TX and Aruba...
MvdV> Natalee Holloway got to Aruba from the US. So can you.
Natalee Holloway wanted to go to Aruba, I never did, nor do I want to go
there now...that place is full of murderus thugs.
RW>> slow boat to China might work, but I'd then have to book passage,
RW>> which would have to leave a record of my travels...that doesn't
RW>> exist, since I haven't left the US fordecades.
MvdV> I don't think that if any evidence against you turns up, you will
MvdV> be believed on your word.
But then, the burden of proof isn't upon me, it's upon the accuser. That
better be damned good evidence, otherwise I'll own the prosecutor who
takes the case based on false evidence.
MvdV>>> You mean where was I the night Natalee Holloway disappeared?
MvdV>>> I have no idea. I don't keep logs of my whereabouts. I have no
MvdV>>> alibi. Had I known in advance I would need one, I could have
MvdV>>> arranged something. As it is, I have no idea where I was that
MvdV>>> night. Whenever that was. Nor do I know where I was on most
MvdV>>> other nights in that year.
RW>> Then you are more susceptable to investigation than I am...
MvdV> On the contrary. You were very quick to come up with an alibi.
I was merely speculating, just like the prosecuter was doing in the Aruba
murder case.
MvdV> In itself that is suspicious.
Speculation is always just what it is, speculation...you said so yourself.
MvdV> Very few people know ofhand what they did or where they were on a
MvdV> random date over two years ago. "No idea"is the normal reaction of
MvdV> any one not involved.
OTH, I do because my wife makes it a point to keep a diary.
MvdV>>> I am not implicated. I had never even heard of Natalee Holloway
MvdV>>> before her disappearance was reported by the press. No evidence
MvdV>>> implicating me can turn up as there is no implication.
RW>> Since you have no alibi, you're now suspect.
MvdV> Then so is 99% percent of the world's population.
Doubtful...most people can state that they've never been to Aruba and
without making a case out of it, everyone will believe them until proven
otherwise...no reason to investigate further.
RW>>>> Bacterial activity slows to a stop around 40 degrees, F...
MvdV>>> No, it just slows down.
RW>> Way down, almost to non-exisitant. Which means there could be
RW>> remains long after you think...
MvdV> Clutching at straws.
Stated by scientists in the media...I guess they'd be clutching at straws
like you're struggling to be believed.
MvdV>>> Milk and meat still spoil in a refrigerator. Just takes longer.
RW>> Much longer..
MvdV> After a month the milk surely has spoiled, even in a good
MvdV> refrigerator. After two years, it will have crawled out by
MvdV> itself...
OTH, milk will spoil in one day, if it's left out of the refrigerator.
MvdV>>> A standard steel oil drum will not survive two years in sea
MvdV>>> water.
RW>> Oh, by that time the body will already have been devoured by
RW>> inactive bacteria...
MvdV> Either way, there will be no evidence left.
:o) Do 'read' what I write or do you ignore the key components?
RW>>>> Wood? Since when is an oil drum made of wood?
MvdV>>> I never said the wooden container is an oil drum.
RW>> Whiskey barrel then? Do they have such things in Aruba?
MvdV> Sure. Why not?
Whiskey barrels are owned by the distiller here. They have to be returned
to them when they're empty. (to be tested for unilateral barrel noises)
RW>>>> If it were left floating, it would have been found. Bodies wash
RW>>>> up on shore...
MvdV>>> Only some of them. Aruba is a small island in a very big ocean.
RW>> Did I mention Aruba? There's a whole continent just off shore...
MvdV> Hundreds of kilometers away and in he wrong direction relative to
MvdV> the current.
LOL! Aruba is located in the heart of the southern Caribbean, 15 miles (20
kilometers) off the coast of Venezuela. (According to the Arubian tourista
information)
http://www.aruba.com/about/geographymaps.php
MvdV> Anyway, I go for Ockaham's Razor. No need to postulate a drum or
MvdV> barrel to explain why she was not found: if she was in the sea, the
MvdV> sharks got her.
MvdV>>>>> If there ever was a body. For all we know, she may still be
MvdV>>>>> alive, not wanting to be found.
RW>>>> I doubt
MvdV> Right, so you admit that there is reasonable doubt there was a
MvdV> crime...
No, you have to read what I wrote and keep it in context...see below.
RW>>>> that she would put her parents through what we've seen
RW>>>> in the past two years. She would have had to have a very bad
RW>>>> relationship with them to even think about that.
MvdV>>> These things happen and Natalle Holloway was no angel.
RW>> She certainly didn't deserve the treatment she got in Aruba.
MvdV> What treatment?
Her murder...
MvdV> Everyone went out of their way to solve this. We even send two
MvdV> F16's qirh special detection equipment all the way from The
MvdV> Netherlands. On the tab of the Dutch tax payer. She got a
MvdV> lot more than most other teenagers in the world who disappear.
How do you know what other missing teenagers get?
RW>>>> he's also a murderer...that just needs to be proven.
MvdV>>> Only in your mind,
RW>> I'm not alone in that thinking...
MvdV> Neither are the people that say the earth is flat. When there is
MvdV> one, there is always a follower. Does not mean they are right...
The earth is flat, in some aborginal mind. I'm right about the above
though.
MvdV>>> That says more about you than about the ex-suspect.
RW>> What it says is that you have a closed mind because the suspect is a
RW>> dutchman and the victim is an American...
MvdV> To me it looks the other way around. Had this been a Dutch girl and
MvdV> an American boy, you would all be screaming for his release g=had
MvdV> he been arrested...
Unlike America, there is no 'ugly dutchman' syndrome.
MvdV> FYI: Joram van der Sloot said in an interview that he would have
MvdV> preferred had there been a trial so that his innocence could have
MvdV> been laid down in a court ruling.
Of course he did, AFTER he was released and told that he was not under
suspicion...
MvdV> As it is, he considers going for compensation for unjust detention.
MvdV> I think he has a good leg to stand on....
Good idea, charge the dutch taxpayer twice for his crime.
RW>> closed minds are also typical of dutchmen...stubborn as a mule.
MvdV> Watch it, you may break that mirror.
Dutch blood does run in my veins.
