Like anyone would be able to do anything about it before the bank could. I
welcome their expertise in such matters. It doesn't cost me anything and
it keeps my accounts from being plundered by hackers.

I made the mistake of using my credit card online instead of using PayPal
to make a purchase. Probably an employee or friend of one who stole my
card info from the transaction records of a place that I purchased from.

They said that they focused on the amount and the person. They wouldn't
elaborate on the person.

Not in my book. Their first job is to safeguard my funds from would be
fraudulent transactions.

I no longer keep a large amount in that account, just enough to pay the
bills. When that is depleated, there isn't much left to steal. If I make a
purchase that goes over that amount, it's backed by another account which
must be transferred by yours truely. The back up account serves to stop
the bank from charging for overdrafts and thieves from stealing much, if
any.
