Social Welfare is very important?

So if I decide one day that I dont want to get up and go to work, I should be
able to expect the govt to pay my way from the tax monies it confiscates from
those that are working?

Sorry Bjorn, welfare is a noble concept that has been gamed.

When the Govt starts handing out monies and services, the negative connotations
are that there are *strings* attached. This is in large part at the center of
the controversy over health care reform, as it is, it is causing a rise in my
own contributions to my employer healthcare plan.

Karl Marx's mother should have swallowed.

Your attitude above is demonstrative of why Germany was allowed to rise up
twice and engulf Europe.

For what it is worth Mr Felten, the Federal agencies responsible for 'Welfare
and the like', all have budgets that far out strip that which The Department Of
Defense has, and since I am a student of cause and effect, just think how
different things would be had you Euro's squashed Germany before they became a
problem?

If you are still emotionally disturbed by that term I coined against you nearly
a decade, I am sure your govt can provide you a qwack, hey, free of charge,
although they may require that you not go near any file sharing software??
