My dad passed on some gold to his offspring before he died. I still have my
share and am wondering how much of his owning gold was instinctual. He had a
great sense of investing for the future (which I didn't inherit,
unfortunately). I've always thought that there must be some effort put into
collecting copper jacketed lead to go along with investing in gold. Otherwise,
you won't have your gold when you need it most during times of turmoil.

No one will benefit from it because your cancer infected bone marrow will never
be used to help anyone. It will end up in the cremation furnace instead.

On a brighter side, sales tax in Texas is only 6.5%, but cities and towns are
allowed to set their own sales taxes, which go to the state, but eventually
return to the cities and towns. So the average sales tax is about 8.25%...
