It does no good. The Prez controls where the oil can be imported from or
where 'we' can drill for it and he pays no attention to the peons.

OPEC members hold around 75% of world crude oil reserves. The countries
with the largest oil reserves are, in order, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq,
Kuwait, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Venezuela, Russia, Libya, Kazakhstan
and Nigeria.

See number two? We don't get any oil from them for obvious reasons. We
don't get any from #3 either. Nor do we get any from #7, #8, #9 or #10.

It would be helpfull if we did.

To put your two cents in might, you could convey your ideas to him, which
will be like bouncing a rubber ball off of a concrete wall.

I'm not a bit doubtful. Listen to his rhetoric since the Egyptian uprising
started and you'll know him better. Rather than get involved, he let
Mubarak take the heat and even suggested that he resign. That will go over
well with those who take over, but it allowed the fire to burn the rest
of the field. He also conveyed that idea to Gadaffi...he didn't listen
either. But the oil prices haven't gone down, they've gone up.

Ever listen to the fat man from Venezuela? He's the 'outspoken' enemy of
the US, yet his oil is as available as it ever was.
