I didn't bother to investigate his claims, but there are what is termed,
flex-fuel vehicles designed to run on E85, aka - alternative fuel
vehicles. GM, Ford and others make such vehicles.

Even the price of E85 could do that. A gallon of E85 is usually 50 cents
to a dollar cheaper than the real thing. One would have to investigate the
differences between a flex-fuel vehicle and a regular vehicle to know for
sure. The worst we get here is 10% alcohol mixed gasoline. There used to
be 100% gasoline here in Texas, but I can't find it anymore.

I think the differences between the two cultures is merely that lawyers
here are allowed to advertise their services in the media. There seems to
be a plethora of ads for damages to the public over something someone did
that caused a person to become ill; like the 'mesothelioma' ads because
you were exposed to a substance that caused you to get cancer while you
were an employee of a certain industry.
