Frankly, I think they don't want anybody telling them that they have to do
it 'their' way, but would rather have a regime change by rebels, like
Castro did in 1959. The difference is in which way to have a corrupt
government, the rebel way or the dictator way.

I know they know the difference.

I guess that makes me different than most westerners. Their sameness is in
their religion and even that isn't the same from one Arab nation to
another or even in one nation that has several versions of it.

There previously were US Navy ships in the area. A few of which were sent
to sit off the Libyan coast in case those being persecuted need asylum.
