Couple of items on the news lately indicate that despite state laws making
texting while
driving illegal people - particularly teenagers - are still doing it.  Some
study claimed that
one is 23 times as likely to be in an accident if one is texting than if one is
not - I've no
idea how they arrived at that number.

Don't know if I posted it here, so here goes.  Years ago one of my co-workers
believed his
green traffic light, pulled out and was T-boned right in the driver's door by
some dizzy broad who was busy jabbering on her cell phone.  AFTER the collision
she was STILL jabbering
away on that d*mned phone.  Fortunately nobody was seriously hurt.
