           Why America is Greatest Country on Earth

Freedom, America has been a blessing to all of humanity, a beacon of
light, nowhere in human history has mankind been freer to live, think,
choose and enjoy life.  We have set an example for the past two hundred
years, mistakes we made a few but hardly comparable to the good we've
done.

We are a country founded on Christian fundamentals which cannot be
denied, The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the
United States of America, inspired by God make us unique and wonderfully
great in a dark and evil world.  Americans are truly free.

A few more contributions America has made to humanity,

DEMOCRACY: While most people on the planet do not have the right to
vote, every Arab nation, three fourths of African nations and most of
Asia deny their citizens to choose their leaders.  Everyone can vote in
America, we do not discriminate.

MEDICINE: This year, like 45 of the last 60 years, an American won a
share of the Nobel Prize in the field of medicine.  Americans cured
polio and tuberculosis, developed vaccines for hepatitis B and yellow
fever, pioneered modern chemotherapy, and produced the CAT scan and
MRI.  We are doing more in the way of research than all the countries
in the world.

SUPER POWER: America is the most powerful country in the world, yet it
eschews imperialism.  Instead, it has used its military might to
liberate and help keep free other nations.  We saved Europe and tens of
millions of lives, Nazi Germany, North Korea, Soviet Russia, Hussein's
Iraq, and Communist Vietnam are among the nefarious states we sought to
prevent from increasing their totalitarian control over others.  The
world is a much better place because of us not any other country.

HUMAN ACHIEVEMENT: Americans have stretched the bounds of the possible.
The first transatlantic flight, putting a man on the moon, breaking the
speed of sound, constructing the Hoover Dam, and building the Panama
Canal serve as testimony to American courage and ingenuity.  It wasn't
Danes, Bolivians, Iranians, or Koreans who achieved these feats.  It was
Americans.  We are number one.

CREATING WEALTH: America is the sun around which the world economy
revolves.  The typical creator of wealth in the world is an American.
Foreigners benefit from buying better products from American companies
and working better jobs manufacturing such products.  Take America's $9
trillion dollar economy out of the picture and the economic wellbeing of
the rest of he world nose-dives.

TECHNOLOGY: "All cultures are not equal" Americans have given the world
more than anyone else and still is contributing, motion pictures, the
telephone, the television, the computer, the Internet, the airplane,
the VCR, and tens of thousands of other machines and devices that have
vastly improved the quality of life on the planet are American made.

IMMIGRATION: During the hundred years ending in the 1920s, a majority of
the world's immigrants came to one lone country: the United States.
Today, the U.S. takes in more immigrants than at any point in its
history.  Why are so many fleeing their own Countries and coming here?
For everyone that comes here there are tens of thousands that would like
to participate in the American way of life.  We must be the best.

ENTERTAINMENT: The movies the world watches, the telvision shows they
tune into, and the music they listen to are, for the most part, produced
in he United States.  For instance, the U.S. exports more than 25 times
the number of movies and television shows than it consumes from abroad,
a fact that causes Ben Wattenberg to observe quite correctly that
America is "the most culturally potent nation in the world."
