It's a Republican propaganda ploy propagated by the main stream media
in this country.

Every tax is evil.

What they don't call attention to are the many fees that disproportionately
target the poor and working class in this country while trumpeting the tax
cuts that disproportionately favor the wealthy.

Al Franken a U.S. congressmens correct in that one of the most important
issues of our time is _net neutrality_.

Net neutrality is a rather confusing issue for Americans as
it means rather diametrically opposed ends depending on whether
or not the individual addressing the issue is a Republican or a Democrat.

The Democratic take on net neutrality is to leave the internet just as it is.

The Republican take on net neutrality is to charge a premium for speed
so those who pay more have greater connectivity.

Once gain the wealthy will be disproportionally favored at the expense
of the poor and working class.

It just never stops.

Karl Marx said Religion is the opiate of the masses.
Today I would argue that is the media that is the opiate of the masses
as in television and the internet
with the weight of influence shifting just now to the internet as it
becomes more and more a source of news and video entertainment.

With rare exception todays Democrats in this country are no better than
the Republicans.

There are even a scarce few decent Republican Congressmen limited
to a very few who were already *very* wealthy before entering politics.
