No. Catholics have no direct influence on politics, nor do other religions
except muslims with their sharia. What other religions want to stipulate
political and legal processes in detail? We're not talking about the middle
ages, now.

Here in the west, we have secularism. That is unknown in muslim countries
except for a few dictatorships such as Syria, where religion is kept well under
control for excellent reasons.

No, the bigger problem is that some don't even see a problem and take the
attitude "keep on going as always", as in the last 25 years or so. The result
is the mess we have today.

Congratulations. Do you also insist on wearing it everywhere (indoors,
outdoors, summer, winter) because of your "religion"? And threaten to sue if

You're confusing me with Ross. All I say and said was that the fleshpots of the
EU are very attractive to people who are in danger of starvation, generally in
black Africa and the middle east. And that we in the EU can give our entire
wealth to the poor, become poor ourselves, without changing the evils of this
world one iota.

Don't try to nail me down on something I didn't live through myself, Michiel.
All I'm giving you is what I know myself. If you don't like it, sorry. Read up
on the subject yourself.
