There is Ramstein air base near Frankfurt/Main, but that is an American
facility that has no relevance to Germany except for the money the soldiers
spend in Frankfurt and vicinity. Political influence: zero. Those times are
long past and I'm surprised you don't know that.

F**k all, David, don't try to act like everyone outside the USA is holy and
only interested in social welfare, whereas everyone in the USA is just out for
a fast buck. You're generalizing too much: we're all human beings, we all have
our desires and needs, and if need be, we're all willing to use whatever it
takes to satisfy those wants and desires. That may not please you, but it's the
plain truth.

Ward has. Up to now I've seen nothing from Bjorn. And as for "visiting",
frankly, you have no idea what goes on in a country from a visit. If you don't
want to believe that, then don't. But I know from sometimes bitter experience
that every word is the truth.

see soaps, you like international news, you see international news. Have you
forgotten there are satellite systems in the USA, too?

Without the inner attitudes an Australian has, the "brainwashing". You'll never
have those, regardless of how long you live there. Deceive yourself about that
as long as you can - I tried in Germany - but you stay a part of where you were
born and bred for your entire life, whether you want to or not.
