Don't kid yourself. Fat women were all the rage in the middle ages because they
were living proof that they had money and could afford plenty of food.

I think I'm not going to give it a try on your say-so. Look at Elton John -
does his bum look attractive to you? Still, he has no problems supplying his
urges. Of course, he has tons of money and could also buy as many women as he
wanted.

One way or another, probably yes. Inluding you, assuming...

No "love parades" and the like? You're lucky in that case, maybe the aberration
hasn't spread as far in Australia as it has here.

Only problem being the "equal". They aren't, on the surface of it, and can't
possibly be (the "equal" meaning "like the rest of us", i.e. the majority). If
they were, there would be no debate.

Only difference being that the aberration has not been as "popular" as nowadays
(in the so-called "developed" countries). In the "less developed countries",
people tend to regard this particular aberration as a crime - which is going
too far, too, as it's more a psychological hangup. I'm not for punishing queers
by hanging them either. But I also think it's better to keep your mouth shut
than be hanged. Some, apparently, disagree.

Of course not. And nobody is proposing that. They want equality, give them
equality - the same equality as a normal person has, who doesn't parade his/her
sexual persuasion or claim special rights on that basis - or for that matter
brag to all and sundry about how _good_ it is to be queer. "Don't ask, don't
tell" is one of the best recipes there are for true equality.
