There's a reason many places are said to be 'Californicated.'  Seattle, Boise,
western Nevada and even parts of Colorado all contain large numbers of
Californians
who moved to those areas - and brought all the problems of California with
them.
They move in in large numbers and take over the local governments - just as
happened
to the town of ANtelope, OR, when the Bagwan and his followers moved there en
masse.
Fortunately, Oregon had the foresight - sixty or more years ago - to implement
a strict
no-growth policy, the state actively discourages people from moving there.
