The good ones (those made in the USA) never last long.  Especially
at nursing homes.  Somehow, those wheelchairs "disappear", never to
be found again, the individual who had it getting a different chair
(made in China) to sit in.  Of course, the individual is not really
aware that he/she is missing his/her original wheelchair, as the
wheelchair he/she is in works just fine...

I had this problem come up.  Went to see the head honcho of
the nursing home.  Got me nowhere quick.  This is a real scam
that has been going on for years in this country.  And there
is nothing, literally nothing, that anybody can do to stop
the abuse.  I call it theft, with no accountability.  Loved
ones provide chair, nursing home steals it and replaces it
with cheaper made in China version (paid for by gov't), and
makes a fortune raking it all in (government pays tab for
individual's incarceration, sells stolen chairs on the side
for non-taxable profit).

Big Business does.  And so does Uncle Sam.  So get with The Program.

C'mon.  Get real.  Nobody here wants to do those jobs.
Lousy working conditions, piss-poor pay...

Government provides.  Business denies.  See how that works?

The economy is for the person, not the other way around.  In
that sense, everything *should* be free, there being absolutely
no need for money or credit of any kind.  We are, and should be,
all indebted to each other.  For better, or for worse.

IOW, we are all in this together.  As one country.  United,
not divided.  Looking after each other.  To each according to
his needs...
