Hitler said so, and the German people believed him.
So it must have been true.  At least to Germans.

A bully?  Hitler gained power through legal means.  The German
people supported Hitler, with all their heart and soul.  Austrians
welcomed Hitler as their savior.  Other German-speaking peoples did,
as well - such as those in the Sudetenland.  So who are you to say
who were the victims and who were not?

Germans fought for Germany up until the very end.  After all,
it was their homeland, and Hitler was their leader.  After the
war, Germans were destitute.  They had nothing.  No housing,
no food, no jobs, nothing at all.  So what did they do?  They
did whatever they had to do in order to survive.  Who did they
blame for the predicament they were in?  Those who invaded
their homeland.

Have you ever asked yourself why NATO was created?  You might have
believed the fairy tale told to you by others that NATO was created in
order to contain the Soviets.  However, the real reason was to contain
Germany.  Even though the Soviets controlled the eastern part of
Germany, Germans always held out the hope that all of Germany would
be re-united.  And the fear was, not without reason, that yet another
World War would be fought with a resurgent Germany.  Obviously, that
was not in the best interests of the United States, other countries
in Europe, or the former Soviet Union (which created the Warsaw Pact,
for the same reason).

Since the reunification of Germany, and the end of the Cold War,
NATO has taken on a new mission.  And the Warsaw Pact has ceased
to exist.  But Germany remains the catalyst of Europe, as it has
been in the past.  Rather than using war to achieve its aims,
Germany will be using economic means.  IOW, re-establishing its
economic might in Europe, as it tried to do pre-WWII.
