A failed general he was not. Accepting the surrender of an even better
general made him popular in the USA. Leading to his presidency. Failed
actors I doubt, as one became the president of the actors guild, governor
of a state and President of the USA. The other actor had more success as
an actor, even winning a gold statue of your's truely. Not to mention the
beautiful woman he got to screw on the side.

I only had them as neighbors in San Diego. They tell some interesting
stories of the times they lived there, you know. Spoke English like they
were native Americans too.

The chinese didn't speak English, except to say hello and 'tank you velly
much'. The chinese who live in Mexico speak better English, but their
kitchens are even worse than those in San Diego.

BTW, Mexico's laws don't allow chinese to live anywhere but on the
northern and southern border areas. Explained to me by a Mexicali business
owner while we were eating in, you guessed it, a chinese restaurant in
Mexico.

A chinaman would have taken that very hard, as his pride would have been
jeopardized for talking about you in his language while you understood
everything he said.

Does that apply to Koreans too?
