Apparently you have bought into the nonsense postulated
by what British folk singer Billy Bragg wrote on Twitter -

"It's not age that Hendrix, Jones, Joplin, Morrison,
Cobain, and Amy have in common - it's drug abuse, sadly."

What those artists really have in common is the strong
possibility of having been murdered.  Except for Jim Morrison,
who faked his own death.

or later.  She was 27, and all good rock stars go at 27.
She was very talented, she was amazing."
- Jann Meyer, 33, Amy Winehouse's neighbor

The cause of death (in regards to Amy Winehouse) has not
yet been determined.  It could be that Winehouse was murdered,
as some folks in the neighborhood said they heard a woman who
screamed the day before Winehouse's body was found.  Did that
scream come from Winehouse?  Was she attacked, and killed?
Seems to me like a very real possibility.

BF>Brian Jones

Unsolved murder.

Brian Jones had a misadventure in a swimming pool.  However,
Jones was most likely murdered.  His body having been found in
a swimming pool made it look like an accidental drowning.  But
that does not mean he drowned.  I mean, the guy did know how
to swim.

BF>Jimi Hendrix

Unsolved murder.

My guess is Jimi Hendrix was strangled to death by his manager.
Kind of hard to imagine anybody asphyxiating themselves to death
by regurgitating a huge quantity of wine consumed after having
ingested nine sleeping pills.

BF>Kurt Cobain

Unsolved murder.

Kurt Cobain was murdered.  His killer remains at large.
Some folks think it was his wife who pulled the trigger.
But I find that hard to believe.

BF>Janis Joplin

Unsolved murder.

Janis Joplin was murdered.  Probably by one of her boyfriends
or former boyfriends, having been given a toxic stash of heroin.
Although some folks claim that Janis's death was an accidental
overdose, the evidence suggests murder, as several others in
her company who had injected themselves from the same stash
also died.  The dealer didn't do it, because that would have
meant lost future business, as well as a bad reputation.
However, some of the folks that Janis slept around with might
have been jealous of who else she was sleeping around with and
well such things can get a bit out of control...

BF>Jim Morrison

Jim Morrison died of a heart attack and obesity, according
to the coroner's report.  In reality, Jim faked his own death,
as his coffin was closed with nobody ever viewing the body.
There also was no autopsy conducted.  The coroner wrote his
report, had the coffin sealed, and allowed nobody to peek
inside.

Jim's girlfriend was a junkie who later OD'd.  She admitted
that Jim was still alive after the coroner declared him dead.
She even leased a burial plot for Jim in Paris that was only
good for 30 years.  She knew what would happen.  Jim would
become a god, and his burial place would become a place of
worship.  She knew somebody else would pay for the lease past
that 30 year period.  Smart lady, doing exactly what Jim
told her to do.

Jim Morrison was not, and is not, a junkie or an alcoholic.
You want to know where Jim is today?  He is at the same place
he gave his last public performance - in New Orleans.  Of course,
he goes by a different name today.  That is the only way he can
protect his privacy.  He is still a bit chubby, and continues
to write poetry.  And he still performs his music, in small clubs,
to private audiences.  But to be honest, he's getting a bit old
for that type of thing, so I do not expect him to be singing for
much longer.  Besides, he is starting to look a bit too much
like Elvis did, just before Elvis faked his death.  Better to
enjoy the show now, before he retires for good.

BF>Robert Johnson

The official cause of death is unknown.

However, it is widely suspected that Robert Johnson was poisoned
(strychnine poisoning).  While most people might assume that Johnson
did it to himself, that would be a faulty assumption.  An experienced
junkie just does not make those kind of mistakes...
