You are not is a very good position to complain. For YEARS, you have tolerated
people like Roy and Ross that have been pouring insults like "pissant little
country" and "eurotrash" over us. You remained silent.

You do not like to be reminded of Vietnam. Ok. But apparently it is all right
to stir up WWII on every occasion that presents itself. I am sick and tired of
hearing this "We saved your arses from Hitler" crap.

My side was the winning side. When I don't want to hear it any more, how do you
think it lands with the Germans? Ever wondered why there is so little
particpition from Germans in these so called "international echos"? It is not
that there aren't any left in FidoNet. R24 is alive and kicking. It is almost
as big as all of Z1. So where are they?

I don't want to hear it any more. The people responsible for the atrocities are
all dead or in old people's homes where they can do no more harm. It all
happened before I was born. I am not repsonsible. And neither are the Germans
that now run things in my neighbour country. They are no longer our enemies,
they are our friends and neighbours. We don't want to dwell on the past, we
want to move on.

Making fidonet grow is not the job of a moderator. According to you, echomail
is not even part of FidoNet...

Even if that were correct - which of course it isn't - so what? Why the need to
kick dust in this sandbox when you have created your own?

You created an alternative for the snooze and its accompanying echo. Fine.
Nobody complained, nobody said you could not have it. Nobody told you how to
run it. But now that you have it: go play in your own sandbox and let us have
this one.
