Hello Everybody,

I came across a strange message this morning, written by
Janis Kracht to David Drummond, in the FN_SYSOP echo.
It is quite apparent that Janis Kracht approves of echo
theft.  And even encourages echo theft.  As long as it is
done by somebody from Zone 1, for the benefit of Zone 1.

"It's no big deal really that Roger elisted the echo on the
Zone 1 backbone.." - Janis Kracht

Janis is referring to Roger Nelson, who elisted the FN_SYSOP
echo on Thom LaCosta's private elisting site.  Roger Nelson named
himself as being sole moderator of that echo.  While it may not
be a "big deal" to Janis, since she approves of Roger's action,
it may be a very big deal to others.  As it should.  Especially
to those who are outside of Zone 1.  And most especially to the
only legitimate moderator, Bj?rn Felten.

Translation -
Stealing echos by elisting them on Thom LaCosta's private elisting
is "the way the Zone 1 backbone works" - and approved by Janis Kracht.

Janis Kracht approves of what Roger Nelson did.
The same as she approves of what Ross Cassell did
in regards to the FIDONEWS echo.

Sure, it is true that Janis Kracht went one step further with the
FIDONEWS echo.  And if she could do it with the FIDONEWS echo, she
can do it with any other echo.  Including the FN_SYSOP echo.

So why did she do it?  Why does she approve of what Roger Nelseon
did?  Why does she approve of what Ross Cassell did?  I'll tell you
why -

Janis Kracht is not who she claims to be.  IOW, the name Janis Kracht
is an alias/handle.  The same as Jeff Snyder (aka Bill Kochman).

So who is this Janis Kracht?  What is her real name?  Do you want
to know?  Do you really want to know?  Even if you don't, I am going
to tell you anyway -

Janis Kracht is Lucy van Pelt.

In real life, Lucy claims to have a license to practice psychology.
However, due to the fact that she always gives horrible advice, as
well as being only seven years old, it is obvious that she is lying.

But I will grant her this.  She is a terrific actor.  I saw her
on TV a few years ago, transforming her pyschiatry booth into a
courtroom and appointing herself the judge.  Quite clever for a
seven-year-old girl.

Anyhow, back to the main topic -

Wow!  Can't find a darned thing in P4 about "star systems".
Can't find a darned thing about echolists in P4, either.  Must
be Lucy playing with our heads...

No private elisting has any official status in Fidonet.
Regardless of what Lucy van Pelt says or thinks.
However, an echolist can be abused for evil purposes...

I seriously doubt Roger is concerned about his penis falling off.
What Janis is meaning to say is that she loves the fact that Roger
(and Ross in regards to the FIDONEWS echo) did what he did, thus
giving her cover to protect any participant who chooses to diss the
moderator (Bj?rn Felten).  IOW, an excuse to lift her middle finger
and tell the moderator "up yours."

Of course it was silly.  Everybody knows that.  However,
Roger's action should have been condemned, not applauded.

That statement shows how much Janis absolutely *loves* what
Roger did, as well as what Ross did.  IOW, a flame to all who
are outside of Zone 1, as well as to those within Zone 1 who
disagree with her actions.

echolist, should say it all, wouldn't you think?"

Thom LaCosta's private echolisting has been abused by a handful
of individuals from Zone 1.  That is true.  Such acts should be
condemned, not applauded.  In addition, Thom LaCosta's echolist
should be corrected, so as to be made accurate.  However, Janis
Kracht will not allow that to happen.  She is a KONTROL FREAK.
Kinda like that creepy guy Maxwell Smart (Agent 86) had to
contend with from time to time...
