=================
Hello Björn,

RW>> I detest canned laughter, which is why I refuse to watch programs RW>that
 BF> incorporate it. I think I'm a better judge of what's funny RW>when I see
or
BF> hear it on my own, thank you very much.

BF>WOW! <respect> That's exactly my POV. Adding canned laughter (or
BF>cheers or applause for that matter) *is* indeed an insult to the
BF>viewers. The best humour IMHO is the unexpected, the one that takes
BF>a few seconds to realize. Bursting out in an annoying soundtrack,
BF>only varied in volume and duration, makes the laughter stuck in my
BF>throat.

RW>> Odd that. I'm seeing and replying to your message. Obviously she
RW>> (Janis) doesn't control access if I can read and reply to yours.

BF>Oh, c'mon now Roy! You've been around so long now, you know that if
BF>you really want to, you can always access a fidonet echo. Yes indeed,
BF>it puts you on the top level of fidonet users, but it's not exactly
BF>rocket science, is it? 8-)

"The previous ZC1 was clear that you (Roy Witt) could not be dealt
with from Z1, the current ZC1 has underscored that by inaction."
- Ward Dossche to Roy Witt, FN_SYSOP echo

Nevermind the fact there is no current ZC1 due to automatic
excommunication (re: P4), why else would any zone coordinator
allow for a fidonet echo to be sabotaged?

"Policy complaints are ONLY to be based on Technnical complaints."
- Janis Kracht, FN_SYSOP echo

Does that answer the question?

"Previous ZCs were wrong when they dealt with echomail complaints
... It's NOT technical."
- Janis Kracht, FN_SYSOP echo

Especially when Janis Kracht is one of the main culprits.

RW>> Monday night Football? I wasn't paying it any attention, although RW>I
BF> did have it on because the San Diego Chargers were playing. All RW>I can
BF> tell you about the game is that they won.

BF>LOL. Yeah, well, it's closing in on the Super Bowl now, so better
BF>pay attention I guess.

Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints? Who dat? Who dat?

 RW>> I don't drink beer except on special occasions. I also don't have RW>a
BF> beer belly that needs filling.

BF>Lucky you. But then again it's not beer that's the major culprit
BF>when it comes to big bellies, it's the carbs. I've been on a LCHF
BF>diet for half a year now, and around 10kg (20 pounds, no?) of the
BF>fat (white fat, used for long storage unlike the brown fat) in my
BF>belly has disappeared. I can really recommend the LCHF diet to
BF>anyone with "beer belly" problems.

Point of clarification -

What exactly do you mean by LCHF diet?
Would that be Low Carbohydrate High Fat diet?
Or would that be Low Carbohydrate High Fiber diet?

Most low carb diets are also low in fiber, which makes
them especially dangerous. The Atkins Diet (and other similar
diets) is used, and has been used, by millions around the world.
But that does not mean such diets are healthy or beneficial.

Low carb diets lower weight over a very short period of time, but
that weight is mostly water weight. And once off that diet, most
folks regain that weight, plus a lot more, making it even more
difficult to lose weight the next go around.

Here is an example of a low carb high fat diet, presumably
popular in Sweden -

http://mylchfswedishdiet.blogspot.com/

The blogger is from California, but lives in Sweden. As such,
the blog is both in English and Swedish. Recipes included.

It should be noted that almost all non-starchy vegetables and
low-sugar fruits are highest in both fiber and nutrients.

For those who wish to follow a low carb diet, I would suggest
compiling a list of foods that are high in both fiber and nutrients,
as without them a balanced meal is simply not possible.

Diet alone is not the answer. Some form of regular exercise
is also essential. Could be hiking. Or bicycling. Or bowling.
Or even sitting in a chair doing chair exercises. As long as it
is something.

RW>> You should have been watching the Falcons at Texans game on Sunday.

BF>Remember: Sunday to you is Monday morning to me. :)

Monday morning football???

BF>And yes, I did watch that game. I agree, it was rather good.

The Saints beat the Texans earlier this year. Could be a rematch
between the Saints and the Texans in the Super Bowl. Of course, the
Saints will march in to another championship. Everybody knows that.
At least in New Orleans. :)

RW>> they'd lose the game. Stupid Fox Sports channel switched to the
RW>> Cowboy's game and I never got to see what happened in those last 8
RW>> seconds. The Texans won, but how did they stop the Falcons? I'll
 RW>> never know, I suppose.

The Falcons self-destructed, making Saints fans everywhere happy. :)

BF>ROTFL! What a bummer. Well, there's Fox for you.

FoxSports isn't bad. It is FoxNews that is all screwed up. :)

RW>> To pay them back, I didn't watch the Cowboys game at all and they
 RW>> lost. Hooray!!!

BF>Serves them right! :)

Next up for the Cowboys are the lowly Giants, who got trounced
last week by the mighty Saints...
