Now, do you or anyone else _really_ believe a) that "global warming", assuming
it's a fact, is _caused_ by oil companies (much less intentionally, as is
implied) or that b) _only_ "major US" oil companies exist and are bound and
determined to "cause" this? Are Royal Dutch Shell and BP, not to mention Total
(France) suddenly "US oil companies"? Their owners would surely be fascinated
by such speculation.

And are you really astounded that such national discrimination and vicious
polemics are not appreciated by those he targets, i.e. Americans? And that they
don't shower him with love and kisses for such crap, which he repeats at every
possible opportunity?

Of course not. Even if you share his opinion, you realize that you don't make
friends - but can easily make enemies - by insulting other people or their
countries or institutions. But is that _really_ what fido is all about?
