The individual(s) in question are no longer welcome to post messages
in my echo.

"Twitting" the Moderator, in any echo, gets that individual(s)
a permanent vacation or ban from my echo.  Encouraging others to
"twit" the Moderator also gets that individual(s) a permanent
vacation or ban from my echo, as I will consider the individual
who encourages such insolent behavior to have "twitted" the
Moderator.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse.  And yet you are suggesting it is.
Suppose a serial killer goes about doing his/her business and then gets
caught.  Should that serial killer be let off the hook because he/she
claims not to be aware of the law or consequences of his/her actions?

"Twitting" an individual is an insult/personal attack.
Encouraging others to "twit" an individual is an insult/personal
attack.  While not exactly in the same category as illegal activity,
it is still highly unethical and immoral.  But those acts can be
dealt with, allowing the offender a second chance.

"Twitting" the Moderator of an echo is a much more serious offense,
and requires a harsher penalty.  That penalty is a permanent ban.
The same penalty applies to those who encourage others to "twit" a
Moderator.  At least it does for this Moderator.  Such attempts of
"character assassination" will not be tolerated by me.

As a sysop, you do not have to anything until, or unless, one of
the perps posts an actual message in my echo from your BBS.  If that
happens, I expect you to comply with my wishes to ensure no subsequent
messages from that perp get posted in my echo from your system.  The
same goes for all other sysops in FidoNet, regardless of Zone.
