By the same token, I don't watch shows that have two or more people
involved who have no moderator present to stop one from talking over the
other, or at the same time. If they can't hold a conversation without
confronting the other when I'd like to hear that person's point, I turn
the damned program off and watch something that is more to my liking. i.e.
Bill O'Reilly had Neut Gingrich as a guest. He'd ask Neut a question and
then when Nuet said something that might be controversial to Bill, Bill
would interject and speak over Neut. Neut, being he kind person that he
can be, would stop with a smile and wait out the diatribe that O'Reilly
continued with. Meanwhile, I switched channels.

Well, it is illegal. The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has rules
about profanity and certain body parts being aired on radio (including
Amateur) and TV...The FCC is governed by the US Congress, who has a say so
in what is and what isn't airable. If it were up to me, I'd make the
station or channel who airs such things do it on two frequencies, one for
the faint of heart and those uf us who prefer to hear and/or see the
objectionable stuff that is real life...

No. He made Hollywood hold to a standard that was previously showing
provacative film content. Since there was no control, except by theaters
in who got in to see those movies, they changed their industry to 'family
oriented' production. Then they came up with a rating system that tells
you what a film content is. G for general audiences, PG for parental
guidence, X for nudity shown, even intercourse without penetration or
showing of genitals. And then there is XXX...

Prime time TV is for General audiences or Parental Guidence, your choice.

I never did get to see that or any coverge of it, but anything that Janet
Jackson would do wouldn't interest me at all. She looks too much like her
brother Michael and he was one ugly sonofabitch. There are plenty of shows
that are on after the kiddies go to bed and enough sexual innuendo, even
on the Tonight Show/Jay Leno. I watch his monologue, but not much else
when there are more interesting things to watch.
