Hello Ward,
WD>>> It's obvious you've never been there.
LL>> Nobody has been to the Moon, either.
WD>OK ... I'll bite.
As long as you're not from Transylvania...
WD>Hmmm ... I thougt mankind had been to the Moon already.
That was a Stanley Kubrik production. Filmed about ten miles
outside of Las Vegas. All of the astronauts had a great time,
especially during their free time, when the ladies in Las Vegas
would entertain them.
The funding for the Apollo program was for twenty missions.
The first mission was a flop, as the spacecraft went up in flames
without ever getting off the ground due to one of the astronauts
lighting up a cigarette while inside the capsule. But then NASA
put on their thinking caps and quickly came to the realization
that it was stupid to send men to the Moon (and back), as the
stunt could be done just as easily from Hollywood, with far less
cost (both moneywise and in real human lives). So NASA made a
deal with Stanley Kubrik.
Apollo 11 was a great success, the Moon landing itself being only
two and a half hours long. None of the footage was shown live,
as no real Moon landing ever took place. But the people who were
watching television believed it. And that was all that really
mattered.
Apollo 12 was not nearly as successful as Apollo 11. Probably
because landing a man on the Moon had already been done before,
and people simply were not as interested in seeing the same thing
all over again. Besides, women missed watching their soap operas
and men missed watching their football games. NASA realized this,
and found a unique way to grab the attention of television watchers
all over the world.
Apollo 13. Who can ever forget what happened on that mission?
Three American astronauts, stranded in space, their spacecraft
having suffered a major explosion. People all over the world
started praying for their safe return, even though most people
thought the astronauts' situation was hopeless. The television
ratings shot up through the roof! NASA was ecstatic! The space
program would go on! The astronauts were then flown by helicopter
to an aircraft carrier stationed off the West Coast, and when
the time came, dumped into the water for later retrieval by the
same helicopter. The astronauts had safely returned to earth,
and the entire world cheered!
Apollo 14, Apollo 15, Apollo 16, and Apollo 17 went on as planned.
But with each mission, the television ratings continued to drop.
Apollo 18 was supposed to have a twist, the astronauts running
across aliens on the Moon. But that film has never been aired,
as Richard Nixon decided to pull the plug as Watergate began to
take its toll on himself and his presidency.
LL>> However, scientists seem to know a lot about the Moon. Even LL>if they
WD> do not know a darned thing. Besides, who in their right LL>mind would
want
WD> to go there?
WD>Mining companies?
Only if using clones. And even then, would still be doubtful.
What you (and others) fail to understand is that the Moon is not
a natural planetary body. It is a spaceship from another world.
Much lighter in mass (given its size) than what would be, or could
be, expected.
LL>> Think about it. We saved the world from Adolf Hitler. We saved
LL>> the world from Tojo and the Land of the Rising Sun. We saved the
LL>> world from Josef Stalin. We saved the world from Chairman Mao.
LL>> We saved the world from Saddam Hussein.
WD>Let me put it this way, if you truly believe all that, then I don't
WD>think you had an "A" in History at school.
I am one of the smarter Americans, especially when it comes
to history. Think about it. Sarah Palin was the nominee for
vice president on the Republican ticket in 2008.
Besides, more and more Americans, especially young Americans, have
come to the realization that the alleged Moon landings were all a hoax.
As such, they will not be surprised when Chinese taikonauts land on the
Moon and find no evidence of man ever having been there before.
LL>> And we will save the world from that Iranian madman who wants LL>to "wipe
WD> Israel off the face of the earth".
WD>If that's what he wants to do, then that is what will happen.
WD>Hmmmm ... wait ... this has been tried before, didn't exactly work
WD>well for the asaillants.
There are over 350 million Arabs in that area of the world.
Those 350 million or so Arabs will not be going anywhere soon.
Jews have lived in that area of the world for as long as there
were Jews. That too, will continue. Political boundaries
change over time. And will continue to change in the future.
But the original inhabitants will always be there, as it is
their land.
LL>> Like Rodney Dangerfield, Americans get no respect. Even though
LL>> we're the good guys. You (Europeans and the entire world) need us
LL>> to protect you from the bad guys (mostly Muslims these days). Even
LL>> if you (and others) do not realize it.
WD>The only reason why Muslim countries are percieved a threat these
WD>days is because they were financed by the US.
The US did not finance the terrorists who attacked our country on 9-11.
WD>Without US oil dollars there would be no Saudi-Arabia, no Kuwait,
WD>no United Arab Emirates, no Bahrein, no Iran, no Iraq etc the way we
WD>know them now.
Winston Churchill drew lines in the sand, creating borders for
people who had no say. Kuwait was part of Iraq. Whose business
was it to partition a country into two or more parts? Shouldn't
the people themselves decide what they want? Shouldn't the people
themselves at least be given a choice? Partition doesn't work.
Never has. Never will.
WD>There would be no massive construction in Mecca, there would be
WD>no Hadj possible of the size we experience the last decades.
Saudi Arabia is a kingdom. Not really a country, per se. The
monarchy is there to protect the holy sites, the most holy being
Mecca and the black rock. Yes, Saudi Arabia has been invaded
before. Yes, the black rock has been stolen before. But those
responsible have always been caught, and their heads separated
from their bodies.
Nothing will stop true fanatics from getting what they want. They
want to pray in the direction of Mecca five times a day and throw
stones at a black rock at least once in their lifetime, so be it.
It is their fanaticism, not mine.
WD>Islam is mainly financed and facilitated by US resources...
Every tract throughout the world about Islam is written and
distributed by Wahabbes. Those tracts are written in every language,
including English, and freely available to all. The Wahabbe sect
is predominant in Saudi Arabia.
At every mosque in the world, during prayer time, the Qur'an is recited
in Arabic. Never in English, French, German, or any other language
other than Arabic. The old Arabic. The Arabic used in the time of the
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
It is the duty and obligation of every Muslim in the world to bring
peace. The peace of Allah. That is the meaning of Islam. Peace and
submission to Allah.
When you say or suggest that "Islam is mainly financed and
facilitated by US resources", you are suggesting that President
Barack Obama is a Muslim.
WD>which makes 9/11 an even greater mistery.
When you say or suggest "which makes 9/11 an even greater mystery",
you are suggesting that former President George W. Bush is a Muslim.
What did GWB know, and when did he know it? That has been an open
question for over ten years. Some folks say, or suggest, that GWB knew
about the plot to bring down the Twin Towers and the Pentagon, but chose
to do nothing about it. If such is the case, that would be grounds for
treason. Worse if GWB had actually ordered the attacks.
Minister Louis Farrakhan says all 19 terrorists are alive and well,
living in the Middle East. He does not offer proof of this, and he
does tend to make outrageous statements from time to time. But what
if Farrakhan is right?
